Who We Are

WE ARE CCG SYSTEMS

Camelsa Consulting Group (Pty) Ltd (also known as “CCG Systems” herein after referred to as CCG) was established in 2001, from an amalgamation of a firm of Chartered Accountants, an Information Systems, Communications and Technology Company and a Municipal Advisory Firm.

Over the years we have continued to offer Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems, Caseware and Financial Management Advisory Services, GRAP/IPSAS/IFRS Training to Municipalities Public Sector Entiti es, as well as Companies in the Private Sector.

We have set up a dedicated mSCOA Project Management Office (P.M.O) with three Prince 2 qualified staff assisted by two other staff who have been using MPMM methodology for almost 10 years. We have developed tools including mobile apps to make the mSCOA journey appealing to the upwardly mobile youth. We have been Piloting mSCOA at Umgungundlovu District Municipality in Pietermaritzburg (KZN) and Greater Giyani Local Municipality in Limpopo.

GRAP CONVERSION
We entered the market when GRAP was introduced in the Municipal sector. Our system was already segmented and tailored for IFRS (Accrual Accounting and Integrated processing reporting). We are probably the system with the highest number of clients that converted from one system to our system than any other vendor in the period.

Technical Support

Conversion from IMFO Accounting Standards to GRAP. Conversion of Prior Year Comparative Balances and Drafting of All Change of Accounting Policy Standards disclosure notes and Adjustments.
Revised AFS from IMFO to GRAP Training Staff on all GRAP Standards with Specific Reference to standards that are most applicable to each relevant municipality.

Fixed Asset Register

Compilation of a GRAP 17 Fixed Asset Register Including the Following:

  • Review of Useful Lives,
  • Review of Impairment Physical Asset Verification Bar Coding Depreciation,
  • Reviews Fixed Asset Policy review.
  • Reconciliation to General Ledger.
